Tens of thousands of buyers set to attend property expo – Aust Broker Online

As read in the Aust Broker Online – Tens of thousands of people are expected to pass through the doors of the largest property expo ever seen in Australia.

The Australian Property Expo is to be held in Sydney next month (May). It will host more than 100 exhibitors and offer property buyers and investors exclusive deals and incentives as developers look to increase their sales.

As Sydney property valuations are reportedly trending down by as much as 30 percent in some areas, buyers and investors from across the region are set to take advantage of the harbour city’s stabilising property market.

The event will be hosted and presented by First Media, whose director said that exhibitors consistently report sales over the weekend of the expo as well as in the months following.

Director Na Yu added: “Exhibitors come back every year because they see the sales flow from this event, while the big winners are the buyers and investors because many developers are competing for their business under the one roof.

“Developers and financiers also benefit from relationships and connections gained by interacting with other exhibitors at the Australian Property Expo.”

The expo, which is free to the public, will also feature 22 investment seminars from experts across the property, finance, legal and investments sectors.

Exhibitors who have already signed on to be a part of this year’s event include Dyldam Developments, GR Projects, Jinding Australia, UEM Sunrise, H&T Realty, Megaward Property Group, Auschain Investment Group, Ironfish, Longton Property Group, Poly Australia, Amity Property Group, Shokai Group, Raeon International, Knight Frank, Colliers International, Meriton, Lendlease, Central Equity, HSBC and Bank of China.

The expo will be at the ICC Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre (Darling Harbour) on May 19-20. First Media, which hosts similar expos in other major Australian cities, originally began the event to connect Australian developers with the Asian-Australian market, but it has developed to further audiences over the years
